This website is owned and operated by Velvet and Loom. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refers to Velvet and Loom.  Velvet and Loom offers this website, including all information and services available to you based upon your acceptance of all terms and conditions stated here.

We reserve the right to promote or publish images of our product on velvetandloom.com and our social media accounts. We reserve the right to include information about Velvet and Loom with all of our products.

BY ACCESSING OR USING ANY PART OF THE SITE OR SERVICES, YOU AGREE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD AND AGREED TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS.

All of the rugs sold on Velvet and Loom are vintage condition, which means that it is a rug that is pre-owned. Things such as wear, some discoloration and imperfections are all considered normal and not defects. All rugs are photographed in natural lighting. We try to capture the true nature of each rug. Please know that the colors of the rugs may vary depending on what screen you are viewing them from. 

Natural lighting plays a big part in the appearance of a rug in a home or staged setting. If natural lighting is absent it is very possible the colors of the rug will appear darker or different than pictured on our website.

All rug sales are final - No Returns.

Velvet and Loom offers shipping to both Canada and USA. SHIPPING WILL VARY DEPENDING ON THE WEIGHT AND SIZE OF YOUR RUG. If you are shipping multiple rugs please contact us at velvetandloom@gmail.com to submit your order.

Shipping ranges from 3-11 business days depending on your location in Canada.  We cannot guarantee an exact shipping date when sending with Canada Post, but feel free to contact us with shipping questions and we will do our best to give you an estimated time.

Velvet and Loom cannot be held responsible for any custom regulations or duties that might apply. Please make sure that you confirm all sales tax and any custom / duty fees with your post office as we are unable to provide you with the exact amount of the charges or fees you may incur. Velvet and Loom assumes no responsibility for lost items during shipping.

Velvet and Loom assumes no financial responsibility for rugs ‘returned to sender’ due to incomplete or incorrect address information provided by the customer. Should the rug be returned, Velvet and Loom will contact the customer to confirm shipping information and arrange payment of a re-shipping fee.

We do offer the option of local pick up out of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Please email us at velvetandloom@gmail.com to arrange.
